BLACKOUT PROBLEMS

Blackout Problems is a Munich-based alternative rock trio that has long gained recognition beyond the borders of the German music scene with their high-energy live shows and clear sense of purpose. Since their formation in 2005, the band has continuously evolved – from their early club gigs to major festival stages like Rock am Ring, Hurricane, and Southside. With their latest album Riot (2024) – an anagram of the word “trio,” alluding to their new lineup following the departure of their drummer – Blackout Problems once again demonstrate how raw musical energy and social awareness go hand in hand in their work. Blending elements of alternative rock, dark pop, and electronic textures, their sound remains both versatile and distinctly their own.

In summer 2025, we are supporting Blackout Problems on select festival shows, providing system-level assistance for their lighting setup. Our role includes establishing a stable infrastructure and coordinating the technical aspects with the on-site operator team. The aim is to deliver a flexible and reliable system environment that can seamlessly adapt to the varying demands of different festival stages. Through close collaboration with the band’s crew and detailed preparation in advance, we help ensure smooth show execution – atmospheric, powerful, and in tune with the band’s unmistakable sound.
